playground site! They will organize daily events to keep the summer
fun and interesting. There are special events planned during the
summer. These include the A Night at the Oscars/Ice Cream Social,
Mead Pool Play Day/Splash n' Dash Swim Meet, Playground Fair,
Breakfast in the Park, Dodgeball Tournament and much, much more!!

JUNIOR LEADER PROGRAM INFORMATION
The City of Appleton Parks and Recreation Department is proud to
offer our VIP ~ Junior Leader Program. This program is intended to
offer young adults who are 14 years of age and older with an
opportunity to gain both experience and knowledge of the skills it
takes to become a leader. VIP Junior Leaders will assist the
Playground Leaders in setting a positive example for younger
children. To be a Junior Leader, there are certain expectations to
follow and various duties that may need to be completed:
