Outdoor Ice Skating

Erb rinkGeneral Ice Skating Information

From approximately December 23 to February 15, weather contingent, Appleton Parks and Recreation will provide outdoor ice skating rinks at the following four parks: Appleton Memorial, Colony Oaks, Highview and Pierce. Please note: For the safety of all, hockey is only permitted on the AFIC Outdoor Rink at designated times and the Pierce Park hockey rink. All other ice rinks are for recreational skating only.

Appleton Memorial Park: Appleton Parks and Recreation will maintain the outdoor ice rink at the Appleton Family Ice Center (AFIC): 1717 E Witzke Boulevard. Rink hours: open recreation skate - Saturdays from 2:00-5:00 p.m., open hockey during day hours (no lights) except during open recreation skate hours. Available at this location restrooms, warming area, concessions, first aid and $3 skate rentals.

Colony Oaks Park: 801 N. Briarcliff Drive. Park hours: 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Erb Park: This facility is closed due to the park and pool project.

Highview Park: 100 W. Wayfarer Lane. Park hours:  5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Jones Park: This facility is closed due to the construction of the Fox Cities Exhibition Center.

Pierce Park: 1035 W Prospect Avenue. Park hours: 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Two rinks will be available; a recreation skating rink under the pavilion and the hockey rink next to the pavilion. The hockey rink will have lights, boards and nets. Available at this location - restrooms, warming area and small concessions. More details coming soon!
