The Appleton Memorial park pavilion is available year round and offers a space  for your next event.  Here are the amenities available at the pavilion:

  • Covered shelter area that can accommodate 8 picnic tables and can seat up to 48 people.
  • Small enclosed room (food preparation area), which includes a small sink (with hot water) and a table. STOVE AND REFRIGERATOR ARE NOT PROVIDED.
  • Two (2) sets of electrical outlets are available in the food prep area (FPA) and also in the shelter area. The lighting in the FPA is operated by a switch located inside the FPA.  The pavilion area, restrooms and park area lighting are controlled by an automatic system.    
  • Drinking fountain.
  • Fireplace – The fireplace can be utilized October through April when the sides are up. Firewood is available upon request prior to the event.
  • Pavilion sides are installed in October and removed in April (exact dates are weather dependent). The pavilion is heated during this time.
  • Pavilion lighting is operated by a dusk to dawn photo sensor.
  • There is one large grill located east of the pavilion. Please do not remove coals but allow them to extinguish themselves.
Reserving the Appleton Memorial Park Pavilion is Easy!
  1. Check pavilion availability by contacting Customer Service at 920-832-5905 or email [email protected].   *Ability to check open dates in NOT available online.
  2. Complete the Facility Reservation Agreement.

Once your Facility Reservation Agreement is complete there are 3 ways to confirm your reservation:

  1. Scan your reservation agreement and email it to [email protected]. Once Customer Service receives your application, they may reach out with questions via email. Once you receive a confirmation email from Customer Service, you can call (920) 832-5905 to make your payment. Payment must be received within five business days of receiving the confirmation email to guarantee your rental.
  2. Bring your completed reservation agreement with payment to the 1st floor Customer Service at 100 N Appleton St in City Hall- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
  3. Mail your completed reservation agreement along with payment to Appleton Parks and Recreation, 100 N Appleton Street, Appleton WI 54911. Please note, your date is not reserved until the reservation agreement is received in the office.

  • Universal Playground, exceeds Americans with Disabilities Act (A.D.A.) accessibility requirements. Resilient surfacing and additional ramping features allow for wheelchair access, as well as, assisting those with physical disabilities. 2 additional playgrounds in the park.

  • Amphitheater.  Rental of this facility can be made by contacting the Appleton Parks and Recreation Department in advance.  The pavilion must be reserved along with the Amphitheater.
  • Fishing Pond with Pier (urban fishing regulations apply)
